Soft & Plush

Impervious carpets aren’t just ideal for the care sector; they’re also an excellent option for nurseries and schools.  The plush, thick pile make it a perfect choice for soft play areas and reading corners; it’s more comfortable to sit on, and if a child falls, the carpet will soften the bump.

This softness is helpful in the care sector for the same reason as it can soften falls should they happen. Carpets are also good in preventing falls in the first place as they are slip-resistant compared to vinyl.

Impervious carpet has many applications, including university accommodation, hotels and company lounges.

Water resistant

An impervious carpet is an excellent option when you need a carpet, but regular spills are likely to happen; ordinary carpets will be very worn and tired in no time at all. With regular cleaning, they will distort and shrink; this is where impervious carpets come in.  Impervious carpets not only resist soiling but are also hydrophobic of liquids. At the same time, the backing stops fluids from passing through, stopping odours and smells from forming behind the carpet, reducing the chances of needing to deep clean the carpet.

If deep cleaning is needed, impervious carpets can be scrubbed and washed to remove stains and bring the carpet back to its original look without damaging the carpet.

Dementia sufferer approved

Our impervious carpets are designed for the healthcare industry specifically.  The design and patterns all meet Dementia UK standards to save those who have Dementia.

Specific patterns and shapes can lead people living with Dementia to pick at carpets trying to remove patterns for spots.  Our range of carpets come in many designs, but most importantly, we have carpets that will not cause your resident’s undue stress and anxiety.
